Since its introduction in the 1950s, auto air conditioning has graduated from luxury addition to mainstream standard. Not only do many of today’s new cars include air conditioning as a standard feature, but thousands of used-car owners add air conditioning to their vehicles every year. Yet, despite its prevalence, most car owners don’t really understand how car air conditioning works or what to look for (or where to look for it) when something is amiss. Read Full Article

Auto air conditioning repair is often compared to a detective’s job. Problems may occur in any part of the air conditioner and at times it is not possible to identify the exact nature of the problem, hence it becomes necessary to contact a mechanic who is well versed in the repair of an air conditioning system.Read Full Article

Before you set out to recharge your car’s air conditioning system, you need to be sure your car uses the newer R134 (not the older R12 refrigerant). The best way to determine this is to check your car’s owners manual, or you can consult your repair manual. You do have a repair manual, don’t you? It’s a must for do-it-yourself auto repair. Washer-type faucets work with a rubber or composition washer that closes onto a metal washer seat (Fig. 1). The washer can become hardened, worn or the seat wears, causing the faucet to leak. You can close the faucet tighter to stop the leaking temporarily, but this increases the internal damage to the faucet.

For too long now, a stubborn drip-drip-drip has been descending from the one-handled kitchen faucet in the home of Richard Trethewey, This Old House’s plumbing and heating consultant. “Most people will ignore a dripping faucet out of fear or ignorance,” says Richard. If they deal with it at all, it’s usually by cranking the handle so hard they risk tearing a rubber washer or cracking something and making the leak worse. At his own Second Empire house, it’s more the case of the cobbler’s child whose feet go unshod.

A dryer is simply a large drum into which wet laundry is loaded. A motor with pulleys — connected by a series of belts — turns the drum. Air heated by a gas heater or electric heating element is blown through the drum to dry the laundry. The temperature and speed of the drum are controlled by a series of thermostats operated from a timer device on the control panel of the dryer.

The first step is finding out who to complain to. This can be a little bit complicated. There is often little point in complaining to the guilty party themself in most cases; complain to whoever is providing them with internet access. However, if you aren’t sure, and think there is a significant chance that the sender is really ignorant, rather than disobedient, of email norms, you might try complaining to the sender.

Basic Rules of SpamFighting

1 - The From: address is almost *always* fake.
If you get a lump of spam from abuse@hotmail.com, then I can *guarantee* that it didn’t come from there at all. All spammers forge the From: address - usually to hide, sometimes to punish innocent sites. If your e-mail address appears in the From: header of an e-mail, then you’ve been joe-jobbed. More on that later.
This means that replying to the message, bouncing the message, or sending a complaint to the administrator of the domain is useless. It’s a waste of time.  But… But… How can I complain then?
You must learn to look beyond the headers you can see. You must learn to read the full headers. More on that later.

2 - Never unsubscribe

Looking out your window and seeing your lawn in a state of good health is a beautiful way to start the day, but you can only ensure that’s going to happen if you’re willing to work hard. All types of lawns need regular care and maintenance, and you can do a better job on that if you’re using the right lawn equipment.

How To Choose The Right Lawn Equipment

In the old days, people mostly used scythes to cut excessive grass growth from their lawns. You should still use a scythe nowadays but only for the first three cuttings of newly established lawns. Afterwards, using a mower will make the job easier and the results more accurate.

Before choosing which type of lawn mower you need for your lawn, you first have to understand how lawn mowers work in the first place. There are two primary types of lawn mowers: reel and rotating. Reel mowers use blades attached to a reel or cylinder for cutting grass. They are able to cut grass far shorter than rotating mowers, making them ideal for a golf course.

Rotating mowers on the other hand utilize one or two flat blades to cut excessive grass growth. It can achieve finer cuts than reel mowers and they are far easier to maintain than reel mowers because you have fewer blades to worry about. They also work better with longer grass.

Another way of categorizing lawn mowers is their operation. Non-self-propelled mowers are those requiring manual effort while self-propelled mowers lighten the burden on your shoulders.

Obviously, non-self-propelled types are more affordable and probably the most expensive of all would be a manual reel mower. It’s highly unlikely that you’ll spend more than a hundred dollars for this type of lawn mower. A manual reel mower is more suited for owners with environmental concerns and lawns that are smaller.

Electric mowers are another environmentally friendly choice and unlike manual reel rowers, you can use them for bigger sized lawns. Electric mowers can either be reel or rotating. They’re priced from a little over a hundred dollars up to $600. Models vary depending on battery power and other features. If you’re particular about the noise level of lawn mowers, you’ll definitely love using an electric mower because they can trim your lawn in absolute peace and quiet.

Although a manual reel mower is the cheapest, it’s the non-propelled rotating mower that’s most commonly used. It costs around $100 to $700, and you can get a pull or push-button starter.

Self-propelled mowers are those who don’t like to sweat too much when mowing on inclined areas or at great distances. If you’re interested in this type of mower, always check the engine specifications to ensure that it’s powerful enough to conquer whatever terrain or landscape design your lawn has. Check the speed settings as well because you’ll want something you can easily control but also gets the job done in optimal time. Rotary mowers of this ilk cost at least $200 but no more than $700 while reel mowers can be double such prices. The latter is more often used for mowing golf courses.

Last but certainly not least is the riding lawn mower. It’s unsurprisingly expensive – it can cost as much as $6,500! – but you can mow your lawn in comfort. This can be a practical choice, however, if you’ve got a big lawn.

Factors to Consider When Buying a Lawn Mower

Now that you know what different lawn mower types represent, it’s time to make a buying decision. Make sure, however, you consider the following factors first:

Lawn Area – How big is your lawn? If it’s no bigger than your bedroom, then it might not be entirely practical to purchase a riding lawn mower.

Budget – How much can you spend for lawn equipment? If you want high end lawn equipment to fit your meager budget, are you willing to buy them secondhand?

Grass and Lawn Type – Reel mowers are better suited for lawns that require comparatively shorter grass heights while rotating mowers are better for grass and lawn types benefiting from finer cuts and clippings.

Besides a lawn mower, there are other pieces of lawn equipment you can purchase to have an easier time of maintaining your lawn such as edgers, detachers, leaf blowers, and wood chippers. Visit your local gardening shop and check them out one by one.

The following article aims to assist would-be businessmen and beginners who intend to promote and sell their products or procure their stock in trade, capital assets, to or from the international market, respectively.

IMPORTATION:

1. Register your business and ensure that all licenses and other legal requirements have been complied with.

2. Obtain a list of suppliers dealing in the products you wish to import and select the most dependable. Do a comprehensive research on the industry. This can be done with the assistance of your bankers through their correspondents overseas.

3. Obtain a pro-forma invoice or firm offer from your selected supplier. Make sure that their quotation includes, among others, the terms of shipment such as FOB, C&F, or CIF. Payment for imports can be done in the following manner:

a.) By Letter of Credit (L/C) - Once you have agreed with your supplier on the pricing and other terms and conditions of your purchase, open a letter of credit with your bank. Depending on the agreement with your supplier, the L/C can either be sight or usance, revocable or irrevocable, confirmed or unconfirmed. Under a sight L/C, payment for the goods are made upon presentation of the documents from the supplier through your bankers (which is commonly the L/C opening bank) regardless whether or not you have received the goods imported. Under usance L/C, payment is made at a later day, after 30, 60, 90 or 120 days. A revocable L/C is one which you can revoke even without the consent of your supplier. A confirmed L/C is one by which the L/C advising bank, by virtue of their confirmation of the L/C, is liable to pay your supplier the value of the imported goods should the L/C opening bank be unable to pay your supplier for some reason.

b.) By Open Account (O/A) - Payment is made at a later date depending on your agreement with the supplier.

c.) By Documents Against Payment (D/P) - Under this mode of payment, you have to effect the payment of the imported goods upon presentation of the import documents by the bank.

d.) By Documents Against Acceptance (D/A) - Under this mode, the documents are forwarded to you through an appointed bank in your locality and upon your acceptance, (i.e. signing the relative document signifying your acceptance of the liability) the bank then surrenders the documents to you, and payment will be made later, after 15, 30, 45 or 60 days depending on your agreement with the supplier.

e.) By Prepayment - Advance payment must be made before supplier ships the goods

Note that the basic import documents consist mainly, but are not limited to, original Bills of Lading (B/L) or Airway Bill; original Commercial Invoice; original Packing List; or any such other original documents which you may require. These documents are necessary so the importer can secure the release of the imported goods from the shipping/airline companies and customs authorities.

EXPORTATION:

1. Register your business ensuring that all requirements have been complied with.

2. Choose the products that you are going to export and ascertain from the difference governmental agencies that these are not banned items. Where necessary, obtain a list of all the documents that are required especially for regulated products. If you produce or manufacture your own products for export, know your production capacity. If you subcontract the production of your goods, know the production capacity of all your subcontractors.

3. Open an account with a bank with international connections or one with correspondents in the locality of your customers.

4. Where necessary, obtain a background check of all your would-be customers through the aid of your bankers.

5. From new buyers, always insist on prepayment before you ship your goods.

6. If you agree on payment by Letter of Credit (L/C), ensure that the L/C is irrevocable and at sight.

7. Try to understand the different modes of payment for international trade, as discussed above, under Importation.

This is a simple step-by-step guide on import and export procedures. While requirements may vary from country to country, the general and basic procedures are essentially the same.

Everyone is trying to find the best home business, make their million and retire. Unfortunately many people are disappointed when they do not find these types of businesses, however there are many great opportunities available and entrepreneurs know that you must evaluate, experiment and adjust as you try various ideas. Developing great evaluation techniques can save a lot of time, energy and money if you do your business evaluation properly.

They say that a project is made up of 80% planning and 20% actual work. If you plan a project properly, the project can be completed quickly and efficiently. Much wasted time is avoided as a result and projects are completed on time and within budget. The same is true of developing home based businesses.

If you tried every business opportunity that came a long, you would most likely waste a great deal of time and resources, only to find out that the business is not what you expected or you cannot generate the type of income that you require. Applying the same general approach to evaluating businesses of all types that you would for a project will assist many entrepreneurs to select only those projects that will meet their needs as well as be successful.

Planning a new project can be taken through 4 distinct phases. Preliminary opportunity assessment, business definition, business design, business validation and finally introduction are the major categories of evaluation that all projects should be taken through. The opportunity assessment phase is a very rapid short duration activity that assesses the market size and value, the technical needs of the project and develops a high level business plan. A decision is made at this point regarding whether the opportunity is viable or not and whether further investment of time and resources are warranted.

Subsequent phases involve much more time and effort so it is important to properly evaluate all of your home business opportunities at this stage, weeding out the poorer ones allowing you to focus on the better opportunities.

The next 3 phases take the entrepreneur through progressive levels of detail, including business case assessment, sales development, market development, technical evaluation, trials all leading towards a decision to launch the business. While all of this may seem over kill, many people have found out too late that they were involved in a losing opportunity and wished they had done a better evaluation at the beginning.

To Wire or Not to Wire

Wireless networks are en vogue, but your installation won’t be successful unless you chose the right type of network and set it up properly. Wired networks require that each computer be connected via a wire to a central location, called a switch or hub. This often involves installing cables through walls and ceilings and can present a challenge for anyone.

If the computers in your home or office are all within 500 feet of each other, a wireless network might be for you. A wireless network has no cables. It can connect computers on different floors of a building or even across the street. Aside from the obvious benefit of not having wires, wireless networks are more convenient since the setup, configuration, and reconfiguration can often be done within minutes, without extensive planning.

Wireless networks, however, are not as fast as wired networks. If you play computer games or want to view streaming video or other high-speed multimedia, a wireless network might not have enough capacity. But, if you just want to check e-mail and view web pages, a wireless network is a good choice. To install a wireless network, you need a Wireless Access Point and a wireless network card for each computer. You will need to buy a wireless network card for each desktop computer, although most newer laptops come equipped with one.

Security is not a large concern in a wired network, since someone would have to physically connect to a wired network to break in. In wireless networks, a car parked outside with a laptop could easily connect to your network if you don’t have proper security in place. To prevent this from happening, encrypt your wireless network connections, or set a password to access the network, or do both.

Do It Yourself or Call a Professional?
If you decide to use a wired network, consider whether you will install it yourself or hire a professional. If you have a small number of computers that are all situated very close to one another, you may be able to buy pre-assembled network cables and connect them yourself. If you need to wire multiple floors and lay wire through ceilings and walls, you need a professional installation. If you go this route, it is best to begin with a floor plan of your office or home, determine what your current needs are, and consider how the network design can be adapted to future needs. A professional installer should be familiar with EIA/TIA standards, local wiring and electrical codes, and making custom cables. Network cabling professionals are often judged by the neatness of their work, because sloppy cabling is more apt to deteriorate over time, harder to manage, and poses more of a fire risk.

Having a wireless network or a wired network is not mutually exclusive. Many small offices have a wired network in addition to one or more wireless networks, depending on their needs. Wireless networks are continuing to get faster, more secure, and less expensive. Wired networks will continue to coexist with wireless networks, often in the same homes and offices.

Along with the constant growth of the internet, new technologies and how search engines like Google collect and use data, website marketing has also had to constantly progress. Many of the techniques used to market a website in the past can now get you banned by search engines. Even though basic website marketing has remained the same many new techniques have become increasingly popular ways to market a business. One of the best ways to market a new or old website is with article marketing.

Article marketing is basically free unless you choose to outsource the work. Article marketing is a simple way to market a website. It’s simply writing articles related to your product or service that you’ll then submit to article directories and post on your websites, blogs, and forum in an effort to build traffic to your website and to make money, most importantly.

I’ve created 10 great tips that I use and will help you get started building traffic and making money with article marketing.

To start, you write articles to then be published online. Write the articles with a specific target market in mind. When writing the article, ensure that the article has relevant information. If the article isn’t relevant or a self server ad for your website, it may not even get added to article directories you submit it to and if it does get added it will not attract web traffic that includes prospective consumers. It is very important that the article contain accurate, useful information on whatever your articles subject is based on.

Spend some time reviewing articles based on your target market to see what’s being read and information being provided. Do a keyword search on your target and see what people are searching for; this is usually a good sign of what information you should base the article for your target.

In order to make money and build traffic with article marketing, you must ensure that the article is appropriate for your target market, and you have provided all the necessary information about your product or service, information for which your target market is looking.

When the article is completed, it should be proof read by another person and checked for any grammatical spelling and typos. Proofreading and editing is very important to make a good article. Your credibility could be reduced in the eyes of your readers. In many cases you may lose customers as a result of sloppiness.

If you are a seller at eBay, who believes in luck - stop doing so. I don’t deny that one needs luck to be successful; however, the role played by luck is a very small one. You should combine your brains with some tips and tricks to be successful on eBay. I am listing few more tips to make you a successful seller at eBay.

1. Give your auction a good title: There are many who do not really give importance to the title and tend to ignore the importance of it. They just provide a simple title of what they sell at eBay. For example, you might sell a Parker pen. If you just give the title as Parker Pen, nobody would even that there is something related to it being sold. Today’s world works on keywords and you should be aware of niche words to sell your items - be it a fancy pen or ivory pen.

2. Good and Detailed Description: When you write a description of the item you want to sell, be generous in writing a detailed and interesting description. Highlight the strengths of the item you display very well. You should also write the flaws of the item; however, avoid highlighting them. Induce interest in the description by personalizing it.

3. Be meticulous: You should be aware of your product thoroughly. Bolden and highlight the important characteristics of your product and also your auction.

4. Refuse bids from bidders with negative feedbacks: Avoid litigation by refusing or ignoring bids from bidders or buyers with negative feedbacks. You might face bidders who would not pay their bills properly.

5. Use Pictures: Use a good digital camera and click few photos of the items you list in the auction. You need these photos to post by the description of the product. You may use at least 35% of gallery feature, so that it can attract people who browse the listings. You can post the images of the product taken in many angles so that the bidder sees the product while he/she reads the description.

6. Reply Questions: You will receive lots of questions from the bidders. Though you may feel that these are stupid questions, answer them. If you receive a question from lot of users, post your reply in public instead of answering everyone on the same.

7. Show Friendliness: Be professional but be casual enough too. People prefer sellers who are easy going than who are very business type or too professional. Be enthusiastic and friendly but don’t be too casual in answering questions. Include good sense of humor that doesn’t hurt the other person. People welcome this.

I’m sure - following this will help you gain momentum in your business. You need not be a conventional businessman. Use your common sense to tackle the situation and become successful in your business at eBay.

Are you an individual who would like to start your own business? If you are, you are definitely not alone. When it comes to starting a business, there are many other individuals out there who have similar goals and dreams.

Unfortunately, not everyone is able to accomplish their goal of starting their own business or turn their dream into a reality. Many actually give it a try, but many find that their business ends up costing them much more money than it made them. To prevent yourself from being one of those business owners, ones that often cannot make it past the two year mark; you will want to make sure that you carefully choose which type of business you want to open.

When it comes to deciding which type of business you would like to open, there are a number of important factors that first need to be examined. Before focusing on the type of business that you would like to run, you may want to focus on how you plan on running your business.

For instance, do you plan on running your business out of your home? Do you want to rent a commercial building space? Do you want to run an online business? Do you want to sell products or do you want to provide a service? Do you want to do a combination of them all? How you want to run a business or how you are able to run a business should have a significant impact on the type of business that you are interested in starting.

When examining the type of businesses that you can start, it is advised that you sit down and create a list of things that interest you or topics that you are knowledgeable about. Do you like working with children? If you do, you may want to think about starting your own daycare center or preschool. If you have a little bit of a teaching background the better your chances of success are.

Although it is advised that you choose and start your own business based around something that you know and love, that should not be the only factor that you examine. You also need to examine your competition. When running an online business, you can expect to receive a lot of competition online, as that is just how the Internet works.

When it comes to starting your own local business, you will want to start a business that has a relatively small amount of competition. In fact, the smaller the amount of competition, the better it will be for you and your business.

Since most businesses, even those that are locally owned and operated, do have competition, it may be a good idea to check out the competition before you decide to start your own business. When checking out your competition, this is easier done if the competition is a retail store or an establishment that you can walk right into. What you will want to do is examine the products or the services available for sale, as well as the costs of each.

If you do not think that you can compete with your competition, it may be difficult for you and your business to make a profit; therefore, you may want to refrain from going with your first new business idea. That does not mean that you can’t start a business, it just means that you should carefully choose which type of business you start.

If you are thinking of a rewarding career, putting up a daycare center is one of it. Owning and managing a daycare center can help you touch the lives of many children and can help out parents in looking after their kids. If you have patience and understanding with kids and you love being with them, definitely, a daycare business is the right one for you.

Since there are plenty of parents (father and mother) are busy working, the demand for a daycare is high. Parents need to bring their kids in a daycare when they are away for work.

Having a facility for children can be emotionally rewarding. Knowing the fact that you can touch the lives of many children, you can make them gain confidence and you can teach them with lots of things is truly rewarding.

Putting this business can make you care for your own kids and at the same time, you will take good care other children. This can help you enjoy your time at home with lots of children. Before operating your business, you need to have a business plan; it can help you successfully run your business. Do your math. Make some research, there are books that you can purchase in the market or online that can guide you in starting up a daycare business.

There are heaps of questions you need to answer before opening your business.

-Do you community need a daycare center?
-Can you charge enough in your area, what are the on going rates in your community?
-If you are going to put up a daycare in your home which will you use, will you convert your garage or yard into a facility for children?
-Do you know the rules and regulations in your state or county?
-How much capital you can afford in starting up a business?
-How do you handle the discipline issues?
-Do you have your own rules and regulations in your center?
-How many hours will you be operating each day?
-What meal will you be serving? Will you provide breakfast for the kids?
-What are the activities that the children will do each day?
-Are you CPR certified? Do you know how to handle first aid?
-Do you know how to market your business?

These are some of the questions you need to think about. This can help you in starting up your daycare center successfully.

Starting a home business I not an easy task and to make things harder there are so many myths attached to starting a home business that it can become quite confusing. Some people get an idea in their head and just take off. Starting a business for them is easy. The majority of people, however, end up having the desire to start a home business before the actual business idea comes to them. Once they begin thinking about actually starting a home based business they are overcome with many myths that make it seem next to impossible to succeed.

One of the biggest myths about starting a home business is associated with the internet. The internet has opened many doors to home business owners, but at the same time the complexity of the internet has caused many to give up and abandon hope that they can ever get a business to be successful. Many people believe that the internet is a vast marketplace that is too he to compete in. That is simply not true. There are many small home businesses that are doing great on the internet. It is all a matter of knowing how to run a business website. A person has to understand about marketing and setting up a website. Once they’ve established their online presence they can make great money.

Another internet related myth about starting a home business is that there is no help available for the business owner. Anyone who has went to a search engine and typed in business will now this is not true. There are online networks of websites that are all aimed at helping people succeed in internet business. These people offer free information and plenty of support. A person can find answers to almost any question they have and even talk to others who have started their own business. The internet business environment is one of helping others.

One myth that may hold some truth is that marketing online is impossible. While it is, obviously, not impossible it can be difficult for the beginner. Starting a home business online requires plenty of research into internet marketing. The marketing tools used online are very different from those used in the traditional environment. A person has to understand how to drive traffic to their website and how to catch the attention of their target market. As mentioned above, there are plenty of resources available to help a person get their marketing plan in order.

These myths about starting a business all make it look impossible to tap into the internet marketplace. These myths are quite untrue and should be ignored. It does take hard work and dedication to start any business, but using the internet just opens up a business to a huge marketplace and offers additional opportunities that a traditional, offline business does not have. It is worth it for every business owner to look into the internet when starting a home business.

One of the most seen doctors by women are OBGYN’s.  Finding someone who suits you can be a challenge. I hope that the following will help you to find an OBGYN.

One way to go about it would be asking your primary care physician or any other health care providers you may know. Asking other women friends, family members who you share the same philosophy with can also be helpful.  When all else fails you can always contact the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in Washington, D.C., at (202) 638-5577 or visiting them at http://www.acog.org to ask them about OBGYN’s in your area.

Deciding Which OBGYN Is Right For You

Something to consider would be making appointments with a few different OBGYN’s in your area having the intention of interviewing them each. This will give you a chance to talk to each one of them and see if you are a fit. Let the receptionist know that you would like to get familiar with the doctor and talk before any examination takes place. More than likely they will sit you in his/her office rather than an exam room for the appointment.

The List

1- Pregnancy

What is their pesonal belief about a woman being pregnant? Do they have weight restrictions? Do they prescribe drugs regularly to pregnant woman and if so what kinds?  How much time do they spend during an appointment? What is their policy concerning ultrasounds during pregnancy? What do they consider major health issues for a woman who is pregnant and how to they go about remedying the problems as they may arise? Do they consider a woman past 35 years in age as high risk? What other factors puts a woman in the “high risk” category?

2- Childbirth

What is their philosophy surrounding birth, do they view birth as a normal physiological process or a medical event and or disaster waiting to happen? Do they believe in natural childbirth? What do they consider natural childbirth? Is it a requirement for all laboring woman to be in bed with a fetal monitor on and IV hooked up? Will they let you eat and drink when hungry and thirsty? Can you walk around during labor? Get in the shower?  What are their c-section, episiotomy, induction, augmentation, forceps, vacuum extraction, rates? What constitutes the need for the above and how do they feel about a Mom who refuses them? How do they feel about following a birth plan? How do they feel about home birth or water birth?

3- Birth Control

What kinds of birth control methods do they regularly prescribe and why do they choose them? Do they have a philosophy about how many children a woman should have?

4- Hysterectomies

How many of them do they do a year? What reasons do they have for preforming them?

5- What policies surround emergency phone calls, emergency visits or ER visits?

6- How often do they advise for pap smears and other procedures?

7- What are their fees and what kind of insurance do they accept?

If you find that their view doesn’t feel comfortable for you, move on to the next one.

If you are pregnant or plan on becoming pregnant meeting the other doctors in the practice if there are any is a good idea and asking them the same questions may benefit you should you end up with them at your birth.

I hope this helped you in deciding which OBGYN is right for you. If you have any questions or comments about how to choose an OBGYN please contact me at info@misterideas.com

Since gas prices keep going up and everyone is trying to save a little bit here and there, many people are looking at using a scooter to get around. Here are some tips on how to buy a scooter.

First off there are mainly two types of scooters out there these day, gas scooters and electric scooters. In deciding which one to buy it’s a good idea to figure out a few things first.

1- How many miles a day are you going to use the scooter?
2- What speed you will be driving since some of them don’t go over 25 mph.
3- What power would you like your scooter to be?
4- How much money can you afford to spend on a scooter?

There is a difference in price, durability, and speed between different kinds of scooters so the above four questions are necessary to know.

Electric scooters for example are less expensive when compared to the gas scooters.

BUT there speed is also less, so if you need something that goes over 25 mph electric scooters are not the way to go.

Gas scooters speed ranges anywhere between 16 mph to 45 mph.

Electric scooters are quieter than gas scooters.

There is a way to get a fast scooter with less noise, try looking for a gas scooter that is built with a California C.A.R.B. by asking your local dealer.

Besides saving on gas money, electric scooters are also environment friendly, or more green if you will. They help to reduce harmful emissions.

Gasoline scooters on the other hand burn fuel thereby giving off emissions that are harmful to the environment. Still though, your gas scooter will always be less polluting to the environment then your average car! Another note about California C.A.R.B is that their gas scooters are cleaner burning than other gas scooters.

Electric scooters get their power supply from an electrical outlet, so it does take a
long time to charge them. Usually from four to eight hours, depending on the scooter.

Gas scooters on the other hand need to stop at the pump more often than your car due to it’s small gas tank.

Gas scooters are more heavy duty and durable then electric scooters.

Don’t get confused by very cheap scooters, remember that as with almost anything, you will get what you pay for. You really cannot expect to get a good scooter with $300. You do have your choice of off brand names, no brand names, knock offs etc so look around.

Law & Regulations

For both of them alike gas and electric scooters you need to contact your local DMV, local state, city or county and see if you are mandated to carry insurance and or any other paperwork.

I hope that this has given you some insight about how to buy a scooter. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or feedback. You can reach me at info@misterideas.com
